After a rather tough play, Tucuman FC's Enol Teigeiro got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Plantanales FC booed when Tucuman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Ovies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xuban Prieto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tucuman FC's Perfecto Cela got control of the ball when Tomas Bergaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Chamorro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Sadurni Abin charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadurni Abin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Plantanales FC's Sadurni Abin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Isidoro Ovies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Terme having to interfere. A collision led to Plantanales FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Enzo Horbea hit a great ball. Enzo Horbea's late challenge caught a Tucuman FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Horbea helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Plantanales FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Horbea. Mariano Terme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubelteso Escalona went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Tomas Bergaño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Perfecto Cela. Tucuman FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Bergaño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 37 minutes of play, Tucuman FC's Ubelteso Escalona made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Terme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Terme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubelteso Escalona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Ovies struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Mariano Terme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucuman FC. When Emilio Chamorro came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Tucuman FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Chamorro couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Ovies was the one to do the kick off. Ubelteso Escalona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tucuman FC's Emilio Chamorro got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubelteso Escalona got free with Mariano Terme in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plantanales FC's Mariano Terme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Plantanales FC from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Ovies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Terme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubelteso Escalona in the 65th minute. Ubelteso Escalona came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mariano Terme could save by the left post. Isidoro Ovies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Terme having to interfere. Ubelteso Escalona succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Ubelteso Escalona succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 83rd playminute. A hard shot by Dabi Aleson from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Mariano Terme's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ubelteso Escalona's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Mariano Terme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 91st minute, Tomas Bergaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubelteso Escalona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mariano Terme made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tucuman FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
