Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Penagos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 played minutes Ferran Mendibuey shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Utopia fc's Salvador Leyte to catch but Ferran Mendibuey was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After 20 played minutes Utopia fc got a freekick which was hit by Velasco Dega. Bento Camargo was a little too slow when Dantel Pedulles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Leizarraga Pañizares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Choro FC's Bento Camargo got control of the ball when Oier Adrales tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Mauleon during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adolfo Mauleon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Constantino Penagos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Choro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 39th minute, Choro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dantel Pedulles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Utopia fc's goal looked a bit too open when Leizarraga Pañizares came free, but Salvador Leyte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Choro FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Penagos made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Leizarraga Pañizares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leizarraga Pañizares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Constantino Penagos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Salvador Leyte managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Choro FC's Leizarraga Pañizares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute Constantino Penagos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Leyte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Dario Cuezba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Utopia fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Choro FC the free kick. After 74 played minutes Utopia fc got a freekick which was hit by Dario Cuezba. After having played for 76 minutes, Constantino Penagos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leizarraga Pañizares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Salvador Leyte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Dario Cuezba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Penagos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Leyte having to interfere. Choro FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
