After 12 played minutes Atomo Maturin FC got a freekick which was hit by Fonda Yanez. If Iruinea Cia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Atomo Maturin FC's Iruinea Cia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ramirez Pandilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iruinea Cia in the 24th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Abelardo Becerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramirez Pandilla. Coporo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Becerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Micael Sierro lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After having played for 45 minutes, Abelardo Becerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atomo Maturin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Becerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Atomo Maturin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fonda Yanez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramirez Pandilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramirez Pandilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Becerra in the 58th minute of the match. Atomo Maturin FC's Fonda Yanez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atomo Maturin FC fully deserved thier win.
