After a rather tough play, Arepa FC's Tallia Betances got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Flor Escobedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catauron's supporters rose to their feet, but Flor Escobedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corderun Gibaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corderun Gibaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Siles in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arepa FC's Tallia Betances got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 15th match minute, Arepa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giraldo Ortuño to maneuver through the defense. Corderun Gibaja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rio Contera went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Liberto Pedronera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordera Sedan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Pabla Beneit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Liberto Pedronera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Arepa FC's Pabla Beneit slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Liberto Pedronera. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. After 37 minutes, Vasco Siles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catauron and the Arepa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vasco Siles hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Corderun Gibaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bazil Lerena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordera Sedan to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Bazil Lerena could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Corderun Gibaja however easily saved by the left post. Bautista Onis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Arepa FC's Corderun Gibaja got control of the ball when Bazil Lerena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pabla Beneit might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liberto Pedronera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pabla Beneit ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Catauron getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Flor Escobedo hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Arepa FC got a freekick which was hit by Tallia Betances. Corderun Gibaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Siles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Catauron's Rio Contera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corderun Gibaja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Corderun Gibaja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cloyo Cera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 87 minute of play. Corderun Gibaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Siles in the 93rd minute of the match. The Arepa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catauron were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
