When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artal Trillo made a kick off. The supporters of San Fernando U.D booed when Tubu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Fernando U.D's goalkeeper Ferdinand Bernabe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 99 played minutes, Tubu FC's Gervasio Afonso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinand Bernabe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tubu FC reached it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
