Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martxel Fragua started the match with the kick off. Jokin Ziguenza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Duarte Iribe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Guilllermo Pilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Valbobo got a freekick which was hit by Xurxo Urquicia. Real Madrid's Duarte Iribe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martxel Fragua in the 12th minute of play. Hegoi Ruidiez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alesander Bardece tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Martxel Fragua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Iribe was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Goiti during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Valbobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Goiti to maneuver through the defense. If Martxel Fragua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jokin Ziguenza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madrid's goalkeeper Duarte Iribe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The nice shot from Jokin Ziguenza in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Duarte Iribe had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Martxel Fragua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Duarte Iribe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Valbobo got a freekick which was hit by Quintyn Caravajal. After recieving a nice pass, Real Madrid's Octavio Bodegas tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Jokin Ziguenza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Iribe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martxel Fragua in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Iribe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martxel Fragua in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Iribe saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Cosme Zalvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alesander Bardece made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Zalvide in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martxel Fragua in the 71st minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Duarte Iribe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Martxel Fragua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Iribe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Jokin Ziguenza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Duarte Iribe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duarte Iribe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martxel Fragua, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jokin Ziguenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Iribe having to interfere. Octavio Bodegas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Martxel Fragua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Iribe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Iribe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jokin Ziguenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macerio Escudero during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valbobo booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macerio Escudero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 100th minute of the match Valbobo got a corner. Real Madrid's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Efren Arroniz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Valbobo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
