Derwin Montesino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derwin Montesino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Montay Celaya's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Derwin Montesino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joselito Suarbol, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Siro Portochao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Icuisa FC and the S.S.C Bestville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Siro Portochao hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Derwin Montesino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guter Sallas went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Veto Lujan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Derwin Montesino. Icuisa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Veto Lujan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Guter Sallas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derwin Montesino having to interfere. Derwin Montesino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Montay Celaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derwin Montesino came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by S.S.C Bestville's Montay Celaya. But to his dismay, Montay Celaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ramond Somiedo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramond Somiedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.S.C Bestville booed when Icuisa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramond Somiedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derwin Montesino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Montay Celaya's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Joselito Suarbol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Derwin Montesino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half S.S.C Bestville were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Montay Celaya made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Montay Celaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guter Sallas might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derwin Montesino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guter Sallas ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayo Blazquez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Derwin Montesino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guter Sallas in the 62nd minute. Veto Lujan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Derwin Montesino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Derwin Montesino managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when S.S.C Bestville's Guter Sallas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Derwin Montesino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Montay Celaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
