The supporters of Fc Angelitos booed when Aguacerito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakobe Castresana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Ceferino Hergueta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabin Soporta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fc Angelitos's Sabin Soporta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Angelitos from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the game, Nastasio Morua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Angelitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguacerito FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Fc Angelitos got a freekick which was hit by Nastasio Morua. 28 minutes into the match, Fc Angelitos's goalkeeper Sabin Soporta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kelemen Avendaño. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Hergueta to make the kick off.
