After a rather tough play, Pecolojita's Jordi Parayos got a free kick in the 12th minute. Bidun Olazabala kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pecolojita's Orlin Rosales got control of the ball when Celino Cora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eder Tipular made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraim Allonca in the 16th minute of play. Bernaldo Esperta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlin Rosales having to make a save. After having played for 21 minutes, Bernaldo Esperta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernaldo Esperta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Celino Cora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlin Rosales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celino Cora got free with Orlin Rosales in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Pecolojita's goal looked a bit too open when Bernaldo Esperta came free, but Orlin Rosales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Pecolojita's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Naveros came free, but Orlin Rosales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernaldo Esperta was slow to take the kick. During this time Leones FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bernaldo Esperta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pecolojita's Orlin Rosales did a great save. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Celino Cora got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Otsoa Melic took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eder Tipular. Eder Tipular dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Eder Tipular showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otsoa Melic in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Esperta in the 46th minute of play forced Pecolojita's goalkeeper Orlin Rosales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otsoa Melic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernaldo Esperta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Pecolojita got a freekick which was hit by Iaki Machicao. Matias Naveros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Orlin Rosales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Lojo in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Naveros in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlin Rosales saved Pecolojita from getting behind. Bernaldo Esperta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Orlin Rosales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pecolojita defense, Bernaldo Esperta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlin Rosales. The Pecolojita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlin Rosales should have stopped the shot. Leones FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
