Gaspar Autran came out of the goal and Baldomiro Costeras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pellas Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Ojeda having to interfere. If Pellas Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Autran made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Hipolito Domene sent off a good shot on target. If Pellas Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute Faustino PujarµN shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Ojeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Costeras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Caruto FC's Gaspar Autran got control of the ball when Hipolito Domene tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yberia's Perico Ojeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino PujarµN in the 46th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Faustino PujarµN managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caruto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino PujarµN was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perico Ojeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pellas Seco to make the kick off. The supporters of Yberia booed when Caruto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Araoz Venancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave Yberia a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fausto Bedoya, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caruto FC's Gaspar Autran. 1-1. When Baldomiro Costeras came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Yberia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Costeras couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Hipolito Domene cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gaspar Autran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the match, Caruto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Domene came free, but Gaspar Autran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Costeras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino PujarµN got free with Perico Ojeda in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Autran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Costeras, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Caruto FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cresenciano Garavito hit a great ball. Baldomiro Costeras might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Autran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Costeras ran back to his position shaking his head. If Baldomiro Costeras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 99thth minute of the game Baldomiro Costeras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caruto FC's Gaspar Autran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
