In the 38th minute, Reynardo Pumares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Reynardo Pumares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caimancito FC's Onbera Lugunez got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gervaso Biñuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macias Meleon having to interfere. Cesareo PayµN's late challenge caught a Caimancito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesareo PayµN helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Athenas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesareo PayµN to maneuver through the defense. Ospin Novoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Reynardo Pumares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Caimancito FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jordi Arrillaga hit a great ball. Macias Meleon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynardo Pumares, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Athenas were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Caimancito FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaizki Folle took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jaizki Folle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Macias Meleon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle sounded Caimancito FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Athenas.
