When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Montes Fueyo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anaya Plata. A collision led to Chicarigua getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Theodore Torralba hit a great ball. Norberto Guixe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Anaya Plata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabimas f.c. After a rather tough play, Chicarigua's Fidensio Paradelo got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes, Montes Fueyo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chicarigua's Anaya Plata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cabimas f.c's Ferdinand Tejeido got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Guixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anaya Plata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Cabimas f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Lano Villaraud came free, but Aaron Terrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Cabimas f.c's Montes Fueyo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anaya Plata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Terrilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lano Villaraud, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Anaya Plata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montes Fueyo in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Cabimas f.c were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aaron Terrilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 65 minutes into the match, Cabimas f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Theodore Torralba came free, but Aaron Terrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicarigua's Anaya Plata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sasoin Iruz in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Valderramal during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Alex Valderramal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atarrabi Sopuerta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aaron Terrilla.
