Aureliano Fontoria came out of the goal and Odilon Planes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Gregorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Sampayo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Gregorio could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Aureliano Fontoria however easily saved by the left post. If Odilon Planes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
