The tension between the Algarrobito and the Cabudare FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cabudare FC booed when Algarrobito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astigar Palenzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flor Moniz might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seguinus Lezcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flor Moniz ran back to his position shaking his head. Gorka Cadelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seguinus Lezcano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orixe Rascuro in the 29th minute of play forced Cabudare FC's goalkeeper Bortzaioriz Urbistondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Carillo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After the first half Cabudare FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Teodoro Carillo made a precise shot to the right of Bortzaioriz Urbistondo. Cabudare FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Flor Moniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Seguinus Lezcano. That made the score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. Seguinus Lezcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flor Moniz in the 73rd minute of the match. Teodoro Carillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bortzaioriz Urbistondo having to interfere. Poz Oliva struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Bortzaioriz Urbistondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algarrobito.
