Academia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Milian Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goito Elizalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Iraegui in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emenon Hoyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Corozalito FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jerardo Alcain hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Matai Albalate shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Goito Elizalde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corozalito FC's goalkeeper Goito Elizalde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emenon Hoyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esquipula Sanles in the 34th minute of play. Emenon Hoyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esquipula Sanles in the 38th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Esquipula Sanles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Emenon Hoyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esquipula Sanles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Emenon Hoyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esquipula Sanles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Jacobo Iraegui came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Corozalito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Iraegui couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes Corozalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Viciola. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jacobo Iraegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corozalito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Iraegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Iraegui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emenon Hoyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Esquipula Sanles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emenon Hoyo having to interfere. Academia FC's Emenon Hoyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esquipula Sanles in the 73rd minute of play. Milian Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Iraegui in the 79th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Emenon Hoyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Iraegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esquipula Sanles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emenon Hoyo having to make a save. If Esquipula Sanles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Corozalito FC fully deserved thier win.
