Mancio Angulo hit a great ball. Darien Canel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rodriguero's zone, Darien Canel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joschka Schönberger came out of the goal and Darien Canel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darien Canel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joschka Schönberger having to make a save. After 19 played minutes Despaturrada FC got a freekick which was hit by Odilon Raña. If Asteri Cavaneros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selmo Trimiño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ximeno Pinedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asteri Cavaneros in the 32nd minute of play forced Rodriguero's goalkeeper Joschka Schönberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rodriguero's Llanos Varaona got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Odilon Raña fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Despaturrada FC's protests and gave Odilon Raña a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Despaturrada FC got a freekick which was hit by Odilon Raña. Joschka Schönberger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asteri Cavaneros's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Gorka Zaldain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximeno Pinedo having to interfere. Odilon Raña hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leoiar Neira during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darien Canel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Asteri Cavaneros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joschka Schönberger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Asteri Cavaneros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Asteri Cavaneros came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Despaturrada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asteri Cavaneros couldn't finish the play. Joschka Schönberger was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Asteri Cavaneros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asteri Cavaneros really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Mancio Angulo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Joschka Schönberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darien Canel in the 75th minute of play. When Gorka Zaldain came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Rodriguero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorka Zaldain couldn't finish the play. Gorka Zaldain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rodriguero supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despaturrada FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Despaturrada FC.
