The audience was convinced that Nuno Zuñiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Caballeiro was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. C.D. Lara's Filomeno Caballeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Zuñiga in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, C.D. Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Hudobro to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Rocendo Obiano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.D. Lara's Filomeno Caballeiro didn't even have to move. If Marino Cuenca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Piritucual was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Medinilla to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marino Cuenca in the 29th minute of play forced C.D. Lara's goalkeeper Filomeno Caballeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marino Cuenca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Caballeiro having to interfere. Filomeno Caballeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Zuñiga in the 41st minute of the match. Lara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rocendo Obiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clodoveo Graells hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Rocendo Obiano came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Piritucual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rocendo Obiano couldn't finish the play.

Filipe Turiela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Alamea having to interfere. Ximenez Murguiondo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Marino Cuenca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Filomeno Caballeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Lara's zone, Nuno Zuñiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Caballeiro came out of the goal and Nuno Zuñiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 72 in the game by Marino Cuenca from a close distance when the talented Filomeno Caballeiro managed to make a qualified save. C.D. Lara's players were relieved. C.D. Lara's Filomeno Caballeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Lara from getting a goal against them. Nuno Zuñiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Caballeiro having to interfere. Filomeno Caballeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Zuñiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C.D. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marino Cuenca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 93rd playminute. Piritucual's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
