The supporters of ACD Caracas booed when Evhertz AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonadona Ureta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabino Moron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bernal Ituarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Evhertz AFC's Martinez San in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Martinez San had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Sabino Moron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACD Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabino Moron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sabino Moron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Waldir Zalaca fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACD Caracas's protests and gave Waldir Zalaca a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes ACD Caracas got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Zalaca. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martinez San made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabino Moron in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernal Ituarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Juan Collante fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Evhertz AFC's protests and gave Juan Collante a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Evhertz AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! If Sabino Moron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Waldir Zalaca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACD Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Zalaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Zalaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernal Ituarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Moron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Waldir Zalaca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Evhertz AFC's Bernal Ituarte. Bernal Ituarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Afonso Lucena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. In the 90th match minute, ACD Caracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartoli Aragones to maneuver through the defense. Romildo Mantilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez San in the 93rd minute of play. Bernal Ituarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Moron, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Guillelmus Sayas struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Bernal Ituarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACD Caracas. When the final whistle sounded ACD Caracas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Evhertz AFC.
