Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nesor Vadillos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Palancon FC's goalkeeper Peru Urueña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Buinton Caubilla. After a defensive mix-up in lara FC's zone, Jairo Elvira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvarez Reve came out of the goal and Jairo Elvira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th match minute, lara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Laincera to maneuver through the defense. Alvarez Reve came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Palancon FC's Gaitan Marco. But to his dismay, Gaitan Marco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Jairo Elvira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvarez Reve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesor Vadillos in the 14th minute of play. Roland Leiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alvarez Reve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as lara FC's Buinton Caubilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peru Urueña. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. Jairo Elvira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvarez Reve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, lara FC's Albino Laincera got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes lara FC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Laincera. Buinton Caubilla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Peru Urueña firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitan Marco in the 36th minute of play forced lara FC's goalkeeper Alvarez Reve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvarez Reve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Elvira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buinton Caubilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Peru Urueña made a huge save. lara FC's Buinton Caubilla got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Albino Laincera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peru Urueña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aritza Brizuela made a kick off. Palancon FC's Jairo Elvira got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Palancon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aritza Brizuela came free, but Peru Urueña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jairo Elvira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru Urueña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aritza Brizuela in the 70th minute of play. Buinton Caubilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peru Urueña having to interfere. When Albino Laincera was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. A collision led to lara FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Albino Laincera hit a great ball. Niceto Suarez's late challenge caught a Palancon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, lara FC's Alvarez Reve got control of the ball when Rosario Rotalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buinton Caubilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Peru Urueña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru Urueña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uxio Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
