Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Urdaspal Roberto made the kick off which started today's match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millan Saladrigues couldn't finish the play. In the 7th match minute, Samaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Millan Saladrigues to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Bermejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Millan Saladrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Millan Saladrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tadeu Hiriart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Bermejo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Millan Saladrigues's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Tadeu Hiriart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Samaria's goal looked a bit too open when Havier Saboya came free, but Geronimo Cardeña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Anzoategui F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tadeu Hiriart fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nicanor Bermejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Millan Saladrigues in the 30th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Millan Saladrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urdaspal Roberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Geronimo Cardeña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Opilano Guardamino charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Opilano Guardamino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anzoategui F.C's Nicanor Bermejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Hiriart in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Hiriart in the 70th minute of play forced Anzoategui F.C's goalkeeper Nicanor Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Havier Saboya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Cardeña having to interfere. In the 79th minute Millan Saladrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Tadeu Hiriart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anzoategui F.C's Nicanor Bermejo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Hiriart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Bermejo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Millan Saladrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 94 minutes into the match, Anzoategui F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Millan Saladrigues came free, but Nicanor Bermejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Millan Saladrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anzoategui F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
