Zulia F.C.'s Faron Argos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sajo FC. In the 9th minute, Maiorga Barrieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maiorga Barrieta in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ibar Cuervo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ibar Cuervo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maiorga Barrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zulia F.C.'s Maiorga Barrieta got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maiorga Barrieta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ibar Cuervo came out and tried to block the shot, but Maiorga Barrieta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Maureo Laso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maiorga Barrieta in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ibar Cuervo saved Sajo FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Gilesindo Longo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hipolito Farias fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zulia F.C.'s protests and gave Hipolito Farias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Zulia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Farias to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Honesto Tella notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sajo FC's Ibar Cuervo. Ibar Cuervo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute of the game, Garikoitz Trexo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. A collision led to Zulia F.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Honesto Tella hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maureo Laso made a kick off. Omero Montesino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes, Zulia F.C.'s Efraim Corbella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ibar Cuervo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zulia F.C. reached it. In the 62nd minute, Honesto Tella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibar Cuervo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Maiorga Barrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibar Cuervo having to interfere. Ibar Cuervo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honesto Tella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Zulia F.C.'s Tadeo Gallardo got control of the ball when Maureo Laso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Maiorga Barrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zulia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Maiorga Barrieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibar Cuervo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Zulia F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Efraim Corbella hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Silverio Conllas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeo Gallardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maureo Laso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Gallardo having to interfere. A collision led to Zulia F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Maiorga Barrieta hit a great ball. Tadeo Gallardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maureo Laso in the 90th minute. The supporters of Zulia F.C. booed when Sajo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Boveda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maureo Laso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilesindo Longo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Sajo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zulia F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sajo FC for a fine match.
