Ermano Santome's late challenge caught a Campo Helado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermano Santome helped the player get up and apologised. Ermano Santome kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Tilines FC's Caitano Arbieto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olivar Landeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hodei Bonal struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Vinicio Mardones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campo Helado. Hodei Bonal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vinicio Mardones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hodei Bonal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Mardones having to interfere. Gero Soterraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vinicio Mardones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Campo Helado booed when Tilines FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Colunga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hodei Bonal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Mardones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Campo Helado manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Tilines FC to win.
