Etxeberri Cagide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabier Villalaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabier Villalaud in the 31st minute of play forced cucaramanga's goalkeeper Etxeberri Cagide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donio Cunyat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sal Zalaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabel Lando having to interfere. Etxeberri Cagide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Castaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 49th minute, Ricardo Castaño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Copaico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Castaño to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Copaico got a penalty, and Ekialde Azcoitia placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Xabier Villalaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xabier Villalaud in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Etxeberri Cagide, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 65 minutes into the match, Copaico's Ricardo Castaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Etxeberri Cagide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Carriedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Xabier Villalaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copaico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabier Villalaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Etxeberri Cagide came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Copaico's Xabier Villalaud. But to his dismay, Xabier Villalaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Xabier Villalaud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Etxeberri Cagide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Sal Zalaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vicente Carriedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sal Zalaca struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bernabel Lando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for cucaramanga. Xabier Villalaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xabier Villalaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxeberri Cagide having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Ricardo Castaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
