Cristofor Muniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Picardo in the 21st minute of the match. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Pinedo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Real FC's Paulino Trana got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tito Picardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Real FC defense, Nicolas Caubilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristofor Muniz. The Real FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristofor Muniz should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Real FC's goalkeeper Cristofor Muniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chaime Lombillo. After having played for 64 minutes, Adolfo Pinedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Pinedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tito Picardo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cabimas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tito Picardo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Tito Picardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabimas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tito Picardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cabimas FC's Efrain Revenga got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cabimas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
