Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rayman Frexes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Gaizka Candolias fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gers's protests and gave Gaizka Candolias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Arichunita FC booed when Gers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizka Candolias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aritza Bedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmo Senqui in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arichunita FC's Fermin Rial got a free kick in the 12th minute. Selmo Senqui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gers's zone, Malvin Bustos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Alfredo Rius came out of the goal and Malvin Bustos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malvin Bustos scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan-Alfredo Rius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malvin Bustos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barea Caruezo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Gers got a freekick which was hit by Barea Caruezo. In the 41st match minute, Arichunita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peyo Recino to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Malvin Bustos made the kick off in the second half. If Fermin Rial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Arichunita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birila Gambo to maneuver through the defense. Aritza Bedes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santio Paradela. After having played for 57 minutes, Rayman Frexes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rayman Frexes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Arichunita FC's Aritza Bedes got control of the ball when Selmo Senqui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arichunita FC's Malvin Bustos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan-Alfredo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Muñagorri in the 65th minute of the match. Rayman Frexes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aritza Bedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Arichunita FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Rial. Selmo Senquis short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Aritza Bedes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Arichunita FC's Zornin Hervias got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Gers's Santio Paradela broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Gers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Santio Paradela hit a great ball. Malvin Bustos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Juan-Alfredo Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arichunita FC. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arichunita FC's goalkeeper Aritza Bedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Aritza Bedes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rayman Frexes in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rayman Frexes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aritza Bedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Arichunita FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
