In the 13th match minute, Momoy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xiao Criales to maneuver through the defense. 0-2 became the score in the 15th minute when Ildefonso Caborredondo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zulia F.C's Horacio Zahonero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Angosto in the 19th minute of play. If Gabriel Angosto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, Momoy FC's Ildefonso Caborredondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Zahonero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Zulia F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Caborredondo came free, but Horacio Zahonero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Molinillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zulia F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Momoy FC the free kick. Rodolfo Molinillo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gabriel Angosto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Zahonero having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Caborredondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Horacio Zahonero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Zahonero came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Momoy FC's Ildefonso Caborredondo. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Caborredondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 47th match minute, Momoy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Puente to maneuver through the defense. The Zulia F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Momoy FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Angosto was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Gabriel Angosto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horacio Zahonero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 53rd minute of the match, Ildefonso Caborredondo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Horacio Zahonero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Zulia F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Angosto came free, but Horacio Zahonero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Horacio Zahonero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Ildefonso Caborredondo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Momoy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Caborredondo couldn't finish the play. Terciero Oger kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Gabriel Angosto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Zulia F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Momoy FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
