Sarracino Canta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avenida FC. Ishmael Domayca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sarracino Canta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Algorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Esteban Balerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd match minute, chamacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llope Arambula to maneuver through the defense. Urritz Argudo's late challenge caught a chamacos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urritz Argudo helped the player get up and apologised. Urritz Argudo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Avenida FC booed when chamacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eudoxio Elias didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Maxin Garagorri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sarracino Canta firmly grabbed it by the left post. The score was now 0-1. 91 minutes into the match, Esteban Balerdi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rio Aranda. Avenida FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Balerdi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, chamacos FC's Gaston Arrateguibel got a free kick in the 96th minute.
