Americo Espinosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rio Aranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chaime Comas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ritchie Ratra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Aranda having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Veguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Cubillo. In the 20th minute, Maxin Garagorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Espinosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxin Garagorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Avenida FC's Rio Aranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chaime Comas in the 32nd minute of play. Chaime Comas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ritchie Ratra came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Veguita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ritchie Ratra couldn't finish the play. Rio Aranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaime Comas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Veguita FC's Ritchie Ratra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rio Aranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chaime Comas made a kick off. If Chaime Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Aranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaime Comas's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Chaime Comas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Aranda having to interfere. Avenida FC's Rio Aranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Ratra in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Veguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Curiel. Avenida FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
