Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Urtungo Baca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Urtungo Baca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Antecha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtungo Baca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urtungo Baca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ronaldo Antecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eguen Luzuriaga in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Antecha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16thth minute of the game Urtungo Baca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes nelsFC's Ronaldo Antecha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronaldo Antecha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eguen Luzuriaga in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes nelsFC's Xavion Tejeido slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cefero Avellana. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the match, Estudiantes nelsFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eguen Luzuriaga came free, but Ronaldo Antecha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Carabobita FC got a freekick which was hit by Unai Mendizabal. Ronaldo Antecha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtungo Baca in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Xavion Tejeido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cefero Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Estudiantes nelsFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Carabobita FC. Reyes Rubi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ronaldo Antecha. 1-1. Ronaldo Antecha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urtungo Baca's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After the first half Carabobita FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavion Tejeido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Antecha came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carabobita FC's Eguen Luzuriaga. But to his dismay, Eguen Luzuriaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Eguen Luzuriaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ronaldo Antecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Carabobita FC's Urtungo Baca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Antecha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urtungo Baca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Unai Mendizabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carabobita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes nelsFC the free kick. Unai Mendizabal hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Estudiantes nelsFC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Rozas. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carabobita FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
