The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haritzeder Cavadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estudiantes nelsFC's Ronaldo Antecha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haritzeder Cavadilla in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Fc kokos's goal looked a bit too open when Xavion Tejeido came free, but Teobaldo Pimentel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Nieves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Pimentel having to interfere. Jakes Corton hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Fc kokos got a freekick which was hit by Jakes Corton. After a rather tough play, Fc kokos's Ponciano Oñativia got a free kick in the 37th minute. Teobaldo Pimentel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavion Tejeido in the 40th minute of the match. Ronaldo Antecha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haritzeder Cavadilla in the 42nd minute of play. Gervasio Santoni struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ronaldo Antecha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc kokos. After having played for 46 minutes, Jakes Corton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc kokos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakes Corton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Santoni made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fc kokos's Haritzeder Cavadilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When Xavion Tejeido came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Estudiantes nelsFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavion Tejeido couldn't finish the play. After having played for 58 minutes, Haritzeder Cavadilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc kokos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haritzeder Cavadilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Xavion Tejeido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Pimentel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Fc kokos's Gervasio Santoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Antecha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estudiantes nelsFC's Ciriaco Nieves got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryan Verganzo lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 74th minute, one of Estudiantes nelsFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Estudiantes nelsFC. Teobaldo Pimentel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Nieves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Nieves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Pimentel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Nieves in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Pimentel saved Fc kokos from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fc kokos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
