Ciriaco Nieves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viator Comas having to interfere. Brais Bonachea's late challenge caught a Estudiantes nelsFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brais Bonachea helped the player get up and apologised. Brais Bonachea hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Isauro Sesmilo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Real Sabanetae F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isauro Sesmilo couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Brais Bonachea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Antecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isauro Sesmilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Xavion Tejeido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Antecha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isauro Sesmilo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 68 played minutes Real Sabanetae F.C got a freekick which was hit by Llorian Sagarribay. Ryan Verganzo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ciriaco Nieves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viator Comas having to interfere.
