Picapica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corderro Pedriza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corderro Pedriza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Enekoitz Jimeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Batista Cariga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dieciocho FC and the Picapica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dieciocho FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Batista Cariga hit a great ball. Dieciocho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xacintu Insausti in the 24th minute. Xacintu Insausti made a great header on Dieciocho FC's corner, it was just that Picapica's Samuel Icazate managed to reach the ball for a save. Iratze Surga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enekoitz Jimeno didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Picapica's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Cariga came free, but Samuel Icazate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Txeru Emperanza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Picapica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dieciocho FC the free kick. After 36 played minutes, Dieciocho FC's Xacintu Insausti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Icazate came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dieciocho FC reached it. Enekoitz Jimeno came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Picapica's Rami Lupidana. But to his dismay, Rami Lupidana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Corderro Pedriza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Enekoitz Jimeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dieciocho FC's Enekoitz Jimeno got control of the ball when Rami Lupidana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corderro Pedriza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Picapica's Gerardo Barquin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dieciocho FC. Vitorino Parserises was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rami Lupidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enekoitz Jimeno having to interfere. Carlos Mor's late challenge caught a Picapica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Mor helped the player get up and apologised. Rami Lupidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corderro Pedriza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enekoitz Jimeno having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Picapica's Beti Oca made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enekoitz Jimeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Corderro Pedriza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picapica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Corderro Pedriza might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enekoitz Jimeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corderro Pedriza ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Lupidana in the 91st minute of play forced Dieciocho FC's goalkeeper Enekoitz Jimeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corderro Pedriza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Enekoitz Jimeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
