Zabal Fresno kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Adolfo Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Funes in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo Andes's goalkeeper Cordairo Urraburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastiaro Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Rojica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Adolfo Funes made the kick off in the second half. Elazar Arzalaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Rojica in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bastiaro Pelayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elazar Arzalaga was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Anthony S's goal looked a bit too open when Bastiaro Pelayo came free, but Elazar Arzalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Rojica in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elazar Arzalaga saved Anthony S from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Bastiaro Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastiaro Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Rojica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Andes were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
