If Ferrer Ursua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes in the game, Ferdinand Aledo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Perpinya Dorado having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Ubaldo Horduña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ubaldo Horduña put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Teobaldo Matas. 43 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Horduña notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Leones de El Callao's Teobaldo Matas. The supporters of Mucusas FC booed when Leones de El Callao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Goiri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Horduña in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Matas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lourenco Quetara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Matas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Horduña in the 70th minute of play forced Leones de El Callao's goalkeeper Teobaldo Matas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenco Quetara got free with Teobaldo Matas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Leones de El Callao's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Horduña came free, but Teobaldo Matas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Mucusas FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Leones de El Callao had held the ball for most of the match.
