Rodrigo Palmero might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perpinya Dorado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perpinya Dorado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xerardo Rionda in the 52nd minute of the match. The referee ignored Plantanales FC's protests and gave Viviano Portugal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Plantanales FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play.
