When Cavacas FC's Ulises Troncoso in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barcelona F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Xilo Armoña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xilo Armoña struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Lazcano Sedeño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavacas FC. Lazcano Sedeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Troncoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xilo Armoña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazcano Sedeño having to interfere. If Xilo Armoña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavacas FC's Urki Amesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cavacas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Bidun Gavilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urki Amesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xilo Armoña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazcano Sedeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Troncoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Xilo Armoña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lazcano Sedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazcano Sedeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Troncoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bidun Gavilan was the one to do the kick off. Lazcano Sedeño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xilo Armoña in the 52nd minute. Barcelona F.C's Lazcano Sedeño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Troncoso in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Roberto Picardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Bidun Gavilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urki Amesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Quin Amada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Ulises Troncoso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lazcano Sedeño, passed just outside the right post. Ulises Troncoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lazcano Sedeño came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulises Troncoso slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 89th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Ulises Troncoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavacas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Troncoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Cavacas FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cavacas FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Barcelona F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
