He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuivas FC reached it. When Ranolfo Nafarrate came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the fc fitodaza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ranolfo Nafarrate couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Echarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iraido Franquis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cuivas FC's Peio Olan got a free kick in the 39th minute. fc fitodaza's Ranolfo Nafarrate got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xanti Casias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Jaimes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raulo Sebastian was the one to do the kick off. Iraido Franquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Echarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Cuivas FC's Ambrosio Echarri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iraido Franquis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ranolfo Nafarrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Echarri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 84th match minute, Cuivas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peio Olan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cuivas FC's Xanti Casias got control of the ball when Erubiel Jaimes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Cuivas FC defense, Erubiel Jaimes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xanti Casias. The Cuivas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xanti Casias should have stopped the shot.
