The supporters of Cuivas FC booed when The Skylanders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Sator didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Skylanders's Burni Palos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save The Skylanders from getting a goal against them. Xanti Casias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Guau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Cuivas FC's Raulo Sebastian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cuivas FC's zone, Rodney Ceja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xanti Casias came out of the goal and Rodney Ceja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Paulo Guau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Skylanders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Guau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santikurtz Morga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Paulo Guau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Rodney Ceja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xanti Casias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Guau struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Xanti Casias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Skylanders. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuivas FC's goalkeeper Xanti Casias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, The Skylanders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Guau to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Guau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xanti Casias having to interfere. Rodney Ceja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cuivas FC's Santikurtz Morga got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Rodney Ceja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xanti Casias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Paulo Guau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meendez Varioz's late challenge caught a The Skylanders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meendez Varioz helped the player get up and apologised. Meendez Varioz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Paulo Guau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Skylanders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Guau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Guau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Xanti Casias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Cuivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Ceja came free, but Xanti Casias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Iparragirre Pujargimon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuivas FC and the The Skylanders players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Cuivas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Skylanders:s goal. In the 60th minute, one of Cuivas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuivas FC. The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 62nd minute, where The Skylanders:s Fortun Oropeza tricked Cuivas FC:s Xanti Casias with a difficult ball by the left post. Paulo Guau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xanti Casias having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodney Ceja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xanti Casias. That made the score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Rodney Ceja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Paulo Guau made a precise shot to the right of Xanti Casias. Cuivas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Rodney Ceja dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xanti Casias, 1-4.
