Spectators: 7505 (Terracing: 5729, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pellas Luciano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frantzes Arizabaleta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pellas Luciano in the 5th minute of play. Marciano Carpio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Pio Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Conoraima FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Denis Gatica hit a great ball. Pio Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Salamon Villarias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Beremundo Salablanca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retirada's supporters rose to their feet, but Beremundo Salablanca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salamon Villarias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Pio Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johans Cascos got free with Frantzes Arizabaleta in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute of the match Vladimiro Mediavilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salamon Villarias skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Conoraima FC defense, Pio Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salamon Villarias. The Conoraima FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salamon Villarias should have stopped the shot. Salamon Villarias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pio Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Salamon Villarias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pio Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Beremundo Salablanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salamon Villarias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beremundo Salablanca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pio Montes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frantzes Arizabaleta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johans Cascos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conoraima FC's Salamon Villarias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Conoraima FC from getting a goal against them. Retirada's Beremundo Salablanca got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pio Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pio Montes got free in front of the goal in the 75th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Salamon Villarias was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Pio Montes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salamon Villarias, passed just outside the right post. Beremundo Salablanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salamon Villarias having to interfere. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Retirada. Teodoro Muzquiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salamon Villarias. 0-3. In the 94th minute, Beremundo Salablanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Pio Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retirada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pio Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
