After having played for 16 minutes, Gilmar Rulan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIONS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Rulan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Orallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vela Zabarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes in the game, Gilmar Rulan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oihenarte Salero having to interfere. Oihenarte Salero made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Maraman Leniz sent off a good shot on target. If Hotz Ledrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gil Orallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vela Zabarte having to interfere. If Maraman Leniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Rulan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Oihenarte Salero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIONS FC. Maraman Leniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oihenarte Salero having to interfere. Gilmar Rulan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilmar Rulan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vela Zabarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hotz Ledrado in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominguez Cespedes during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, LIONS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominguez Cespedes to maneuver through the defense. Luke Zuriarrain's late challenge caught a LIONS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luke Zuriarrain helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C barcelona getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luke Zuriarrain hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, F.C barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Maraman Leniz came free, but Oihenarte Salero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errapel Andonaegui kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Vela Zabarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hotz Ledrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hotz Ledrado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vela Zabarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
