Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Txatxu Chapa started the match with the kick off. If Txatxu Chapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bixintxo Gonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Ulibarri in the 13th minute of the match. If Ruben Ulibarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Ulibarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bixintxo Gonta having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mouricio Cagigas during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barcelona FC booed when Palomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouricio Cagigas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Txatxu Chapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bixintxo Gonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Txatxu Chapa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bixintxo Gonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona FC. Bixintxo Gonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txatxu Chapa in the 34th minute of play. Txatxu Chapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Palomo's Teo Camilo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberino Baca. That made the score 1-1 after 37 minutes of play. With a little luck, Barcelona FC's Alberino Baca got control of the ball when Teo Camilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bixintxo Gonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txatxu Chapa's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mouricio Cagigas made a kick off. Bixintxo Gonta made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ruben Ulibarri sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 54 minutes, Ruben Ulibarri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Ulibarri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes, Osoro Angeles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palomo and the Barcelona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bixintxo Gonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txatxu Chapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A long shot from Cristian Aragon in the 77th minute of play was well struck, but Bixintxo Gonta made a really good save at the right post. Mouricio Cagigas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Indar Uja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Palomo's goal looked a bit too open when Txatxu Chapa came free, but Bixintxo Gonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes Barcelona FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leandro Melendes who took care of the corner kick.
