In the 17th minute, one of Corubo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corubo FC. Cristian Aragon walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 22 played minutes Txatxu Chapa rounded Corubo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Barcelona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olo Fajardo came free, but Alberino Baca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Txatxu Chapa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Txatxu Chapa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olo Fajardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alberino Baca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Blasi Holgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberino Baca. Barcelona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blasi Holgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the game, Bautista Martiniana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corubo FC the free kick. Bautista Martiniana kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Blasi Holgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corubo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blasi Holgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberino Baca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Olo Fajardo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barcelona FC's Alberino Baca. Alberino Baca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Txatxu Chapa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txatxu Chapa in the 59th minute of play forced Corubo FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Marentos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberino Baca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blasi Holgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alberino Baca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blasi Holgado in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Gustavo Sempere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona FC and the Corubo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberino Baca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olo Fajardo in the 69th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberino Baca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blasi Holgado in the 81st minute of play. Olo Fajardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberino Baca having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Corubo FC's Blasi Holgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberino Baca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Barcelona FC got a freekick which was hit by Nardo Cobredo. If Blasi Holgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Corubo FC's Blasi Holgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.
