After a defensive mix-up in PEMBROKE CF's zone, Uxio Bon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilbo Hormaiztegui came out of the goal and Uxio Bon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bilbo Hormaiztegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Calvon in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ugutz Castrillon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arixo Oñate struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zunbeltz Tarulla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEMBROKE CF. Benedicto Calvon scored 1-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bilbo Hormaiztegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Calvon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nantes FC had played much better football throughout.
