Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Topocho S.C.'s Gabino Septien started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Mannie Ron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jatsu Ascargorta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute of the match Leonardo Corton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Salsoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Nicanor Lainez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jatsu Ascargorta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Castella, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Topocho S.C.'s Jatsu Ascargorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Castella in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Gabino Septien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Odon Villarmea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Salsoro having to interfere. If Mannie Ron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of barcelona booed when Topocho S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zadornin Castrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jatsu Ascargorta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mannie Ron in the 37th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Carolo Castella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topocho S.C.'s Jatsu Ascargorta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th play minute Mannie Ron came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jatsu Ascargorta. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Castella to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Umea Gamones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jatsu Ascargorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Topocho S.C.'s Gabino Septien got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jatsu Ascargorta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Castella in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Topocho S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Lainez. Jatsu Ascargorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mannie Ron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Castella might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jatsu Ascargorta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Castella ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Mannie Ron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jatsu Ascargorta was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Gabino Septien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Salsoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mannie Ron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jatsu Ascargorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabino Septien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Salsoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Topocho S.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for barcelona.
