Bernal Alayz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevez Huberto having to interfere. If Igor Neses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes Upata FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olentzaro Aguinaco who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Altosano FC's Faustino Megid getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Megid during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Altosano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Megid to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Bernal Alayz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altosano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernal Alayz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
