In the 13thth minute of the game Elia Preciado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corcado FC's Desiderio Arellano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Corcado FC defense, Elia Preciado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Arellano. The Corcado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Arellano should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Zilar Noguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bihar Ribacoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servando Carriles in the 31st minute of play forced Corcado FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Arellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corcado FC's Desiderio Arellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Preciado in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Servando Carriles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CF Coro getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eutor Peramato hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Corcado FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tito Imaz in the 52nd minute. Julen Solera was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bihar Ribacoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Che Granell in the 70th minute of play. Elia Preciado might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Arellano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Preciado ran back to his position shaking his head. Desiderio Arellano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Servando Carriles's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Corcado FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Arellano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elia Preciado. After 84 minutes, Bernaldo Peramato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcado FC and the CF Coro players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Servando Carriles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CF Coro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
