A collision led to Sararina FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Henry Cantolla hit a great ball. Jorge Taboada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sustrai Zartucha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bernardino Cacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nesto Biempicas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Bernardino Cacho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Sararina FC's Bernardino Cacho got control of the ball when Nesto Biempica tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mineros de Guayana FC booed when Sararina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romo Araico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mineros de Guayana FC's Nesto Biempica got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sararina FC booed when Mineros de Guayana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Fontoria didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mineros de Guayana FC's Abel Fontoria in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sararina FC's Bernardino Cacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sararina FC from getting a goal against them. Bernardino Cacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Fontoria, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mineros de Guayana FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nesto Biempica in the 30th minute. Xulio Sorriba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Raimundo Narganes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mineros de Guayana FC's Jorge Taboada got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardino Cacho came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Mineros de Guayana FC's Abel Fontoria. But to his dismay, Abel Fontoria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Abel Fontoria managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 2-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xulio Sorriba to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sararina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Olveira came free, but Bernardino Cacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Nesto Biempica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Cacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mineros de Guayana FC's Abel Fontoria got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardino Cacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Fontoria in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Nel Narria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Abel Fontoria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mineros de Guayana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Bernardino Cacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Fontoria, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Taboada in the 77th minute of play forced Sararina FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Cacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitin Esteban got free with Raimundo Narganes in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Fontoria might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Cacho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Fontoria ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute of the match Valiente Saribiarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Cacho skillfully saved the ball. If Jorge Taboada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nesto Biempica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Mineros de Guayana FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
