The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Parguaza got a freekick which was hit by Rey Guete. Haritzeder Ilarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Olmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Caracas.F.C. a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stefano Abos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Parguaza's Aimar Salaya. 1-0. 29 minutes in the game, Marco Garrote dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Emesto Victorica's late challenge caught a Caracas.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emesto Victorica helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Parguaza got a freekick which was hit by Emesto Victorica. 32 minutes into the match, Caracas.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rey Guete came free, but Haritzeder Ilarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haritzeder Ilarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey Guete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sindo Sirguero got free with Aimar Salaya in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haritzeder Ilarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Olmo in the 37th minute of play. Ihazintu Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Haritzeder Ilarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Olmo was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 43 played minutes Parguaza got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Olmo. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Bastiaro Cainzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ihazintu Morais came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Parguaza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ihazintu Morais couldn't finish the play. Ihazintu Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haritzeder Ilarza having to interfere. Parguaza's Emesto Victorica shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Haritzeder Ilarza but with some difficulty. Rexino Bejarano made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bastiaro Cainzos. After 69 minutes of play, Caracas.F.C.'s Sindo Sirguero made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aimar Salaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Obispo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With his leg Haritzeder Ilarza managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Parguaza's Ihazintu Morais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ihazintu Morais sped through Caracas.F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haritzeder Ilarza. Bastiaro Cainzos hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Caracas.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Obispo to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Orejas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Sindo Sirguero fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caracas.F.C.'s protests and gave Sindo Sirguero a yellow card for diving instead. Parguaza were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Caracas.F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
