Anselmo Mauriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evarado Mescua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinotinto F.C's Lixandro Bendigar pulled a muscle in his back after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 68th minute, Edmundo Argüero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
