In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Tanque Bolivariano's goalkeeper Venerando Torrado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Distiratsu Trevijano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anselmo Mauriz came out and tried to block the shot, but Distiratsu Trevijano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. Anselmo Mauriz came out of the goal and Tohias Barrueta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Tanque Bolivariano:s Venerando Torrado showed great skill when he stopped Timeteo Giribet:s penalty. Anselmo Mauriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jago Alzaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Teodoro Alvadalejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venerando Torrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Alvadalejo in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Timeteo Giribet took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Venerando Torrado to make any attempt to save it. Venerando Torrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timeteo Giribet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vinotinto F.C fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Vinotinto F.C's Teodoro Alvadalejo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Timeteo Giribet struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Venerando Torrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinotinto F.C. Timeteo Giribet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venerando Torrado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Anselmo Mauriz came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by El Tanque Bolivariano's Macario Acebo. But to his dismay, Macario Acebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Alvadalejo got free with Venerando Torrado in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Oihan Rutges fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Tanque Bolivariano's protests and gave Oihan Rutges a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes El Tanque Bolivariano got a freekick which was hit by Oihan Rutges. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
